Description

Novoret Capsule contains Zeaxanthin, Lutein and Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA). Lutein and Zeaxanthin are the only carotenoids found in both the macula and lens of human eye and have dual functions in both tissues to act as powerful antioxidants and to filter high-energy blue light.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential because they cannot be synthesized in the body and must be taken via diet or supplement. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acids (EPA) are two major components of Omega-3 fatty Acids and are concentrated in retina and retinal vascular endothelium. Zeaxanthin and Omega-3 fatty acids used to prevent the risk of Age-related Macular Degeneration. This combination also plays essential role in many other eye conditions like Cataract, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Dry eye and Glaucoma. Lutein and Zeaxanthin have been found to lower risk of age-related macular degeneration and cataract, improvements in visual field, visual acuity and reduction in the rate of visual decline.
