This medicine effectively decreases swelling, itching and redness of the skin. Bacterial skin infection occurs when bacteria enter the body through broken skin.

ZINCODERM G CREAM contains three different medications: Gentamicin, Clobetasol and Zinc sulfate. Gentamicin is an antibiotic that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required to survive the bacteria. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine that inhibits the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Zinc is an important mineral that helps maintain the skin’s health. Zinc helps to heal the infection. Together, ZINCODERM G CREAM helps in treating skin infections.

ZINCODERM G CREAM is for external use only. Take a pea-sized amount onto your finger, apply it directly onto the affected area, and gently massage it. If ZINCODERM G CREAM comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately. Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to use ZINCODERM G CREAM for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as skin peeling, dryness, burning sensation, irritation, stinging sensation, itching and redness at the application site.
