Product introduction
Mycoclin Mouth Paint belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It works by stopping the growth of fungus and is used to treat infections of the mouth. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
Use Mycoclin Mouth Paint in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. Make sure not to swallow the medication. Do not stop using this medicine until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after using it. Do not use it for longer than your doctor has told you to and let him or her know if your condition does not improve after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment.
The medicine is generally safe to use with minimal side effects. Occasionally it may cause severe allergic reactions which include rash, swelling of face or tongue, and breathing problems. Get emergency help if happens.
It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way this medicine works, but talk to your doctor before using it if you have recently used another medicine that contains a steroid or had an allergic reaction to another antifungal medicine.
