SEREGRA-100 MG TAB

Seregra-100 Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE 5) inhibitors primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in adult men. Additionally, Seregra-100 Tablet may also be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) in adults to improve the ability to exercise and to slow down clinical worsening.

Seregra-100 Tablet works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby allowing the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. Thus, Seregra-100 Tablet helps treat erectile dysfunction. Seregra-100 Tablet relaxes the blood vessels, increases the blood supply to the lungs and reduces the workload of the heart. Thereby, treating pulmonary hypertension.

You are advised to take Seregra-100 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Seregra-100 Tablet may cause side effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, indigestion and stomach upset. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Seregra-100 Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components or if you are taking nitrate medicines or riociguat (a drug used to treat pulmonary hypertension). Seregra-100 Tablet is not recommended for use in children. Consult your doctor if you experience hearing or visual impairment. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may impair your ability to get an erection. Taking Seregra-100 Tablet after a heavy meal might take longer time for the medicine to work; therefore you are advised to take Seregra-100 Tablet with light meals.

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water as a whole. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet. Syrup/Suspension: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided by the pack.Powder for oral suspension: Check the label for directions before use. Add the prescribed quantity of water to the powder, close the cap and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Take the prescribed dose using the dosing syringe.Sachet: Open the sachet and consume the entire contents.Orally disintegrating strip: Keep the strip in the mouth and allow it to disintegrate. Do not swallow as a whole. Avoid handling the strip with wet hands.Jelly: Place the jelly in the mouth or under the tongue and allow it to dissolve.Effervescent tablets: Check the label for directions and take it as advised by the doctor. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in half a glass of water and consume the solution immediately.
